Our second outing of the year took us back to The Falkirk Stadium. The plan was simple, get the lads together and shake off the cobwebs. There’s always something special about stepping out with this group, and the game did not disappoint.
It was end to end from the first whistle. Both teams played some lovely stuff and the goals kept coming. The blue team edged it 6-5 in the end, but it could have gone either way.
At 5-5 in stoppage time, tired legs started to show and a late tackle in the box gave the referee a big call to make. Penalty. Johnny Cairns stepped up, stayed calm, and tucked it away to win it for the blue team.
