Bayview Stadium, Home of East Fife FC: Supporting The Cookie Jar Foundation and CLEAR
Our sixth charity match took us to Bayview Stadium, the home of East Fife FC. For the last day in November we could not have asked for better weather. Sunshine and 12 degrees made it a perfect afternoon for football. As always, a huge thanks to Celsius Plumbing and Heating for their support and for helping us create days like this. The match itself was a thriller from start to finish. The Yellow team burst out of the blocks and raced into a 3-0 lead inside 20 minutes. Dirk Ot

Broadwood Stadium: In Support of Cumbernauld and District Women’s Aid
Our fifth charity match took place under the lights at Broadwood Stadium, the former home of Clyde FC and the current ground of Rangers Women. It was a special night for the club. We debuted our brand new kits, proudly sponsored by Celsius Plumbing and Heating, and our new badge lit up the stadium scoreboard. A brilliant moment for everyone involved. This match also carried deep meaning. It was played in honour of Graham Burns, the father of our own Kris Burns, who sadly pass

A Special Night at Stark’s Park, Supporting Kirkcaldy Foodbank and Raith Rovers Community Foundation
We had the privilege of playing our fourth charity match at Stark’s Park, the home of Raith Rovers FC. It was a brilliant venue for the occasion and made the night even more special. This match also marked the final outing for our current kits before we unveil our new ones, kindly sponsored by Celsius Plumbing and Heating. The weather in Kirkcaldy was perfect, with clear skies and sunshine setting the scene for a cracking match. From the first whistle it was end to end, with

Easter Road, Home of Hibernian FC: In Support of Hibernian Community Foundation
Playing at Easter Road in May was something special. For many of the lads it was a boyhood dream, and to do it while raising money for Hibernian Community Foundation made the day even better. The Foundation does brilliant work across the local community, so it felt great to give something back. We could not have asked for better weather. Not a cloud in the sky and the sun beating down on Leith. Both teams handled the heat well and put on a cracking game. There were quality go

The Falkirk Stadium: Samba Foundation Friendly
Our second outing of the year took us back to The Falkirk Stadium. The plan was simple, get the lads together and shake off the cobwebs. There’s always something special about stepping out with this group, and the game did not disappoint. It was end to end from the first whistle. Both teams played some lovely stuff and the goals kept coming. The blue team edged it 6-5 in the end, but it could have gone either way. At 5-5 in stoppage time, tired legs started to show and a late

Charity Match for Brick: In aid of Cancer Research UK
Our first ever charity game set the tone for everything we wanted Samba to be. We had stepped away from the Edinburgh amateur leagues to focus on matches that meant something. This one meant a lot. The weather was brutal. Heavy rain, strong winds, the full works. But nothing was stopping us taking to the pitch for Brick. He was part of the Samba family many years ago and sadly passed away early last year. This match was played in his memory, and the lads turned up in force. T
